BioLNG - Allotment Rule

 

As the demand for converting biomethane certificates into BioLNG certificates might exceed the capability of the liquifying units, a transparent and non-discriminatory demand procedure and allotment rule are required.

The possibility to convert the certificates is allotted as follows:

Long term allocation of the bio liquefaction service:

  • Long Term capacity offered during yearly subscription window; Standard offered quantity = 21,6 GWh/Month

Short term allocation of the bio liquefaction service:

  • Monthly request period for short term BioLNG services organized from 1st of the month until 3rd business day of the month
  • If total demand > Short term offer --> pro rata demand
  • Service confirmation at the latest 5th business day of the month
  • After monthly request period, FCFS is possible for that month
